Another “Foro” at school

Alegre, Nicolini, Romero, Testoni and Mora

October 9, 2008

San Antonio de Padua, Buenos Aires

On Tuesday we had a new “Foro”, but this time it was to commemorate October 12, “Día de la raza”.

First some students made a debate as an introduction. They commented opinions about the colonization. They were about ten students, five agreed and five disagreed.

Then we could give our opinion but only a few students talked. We might have participated more but nobody wanted to give their opinion.

The “Foro” was longer that the last one and it was very interesting because we talked about racial discrimination too. We also watched some videos about Colón and they gave a conclusion about the topic.

A hard work

Deandrea, Rodriguez, Rodriguez, Casal, Molina and Argañaraz

At the beginning of the year, Mrs Mercedes García, our geography teacher, told us we must make an assignment about our country.

Children were separated in groups and chose a region to study.

We investigated about climate relief, flora and fauna, and prepared pictures and posters about them.

Now we must tell the rest of the class all the investigations and our teacher will qualify us in the last period of class.
